Q: Do I need a fancy boat to fish in FOCBA?
A: No.  As long as your boat runs, and you have a functioning livewell, you can fish and enjoy the fun and fellowship.

Q: Do you ever have conflict in FOCBA?                                                                                                                                                                    A:  Of course we do.  We are all humans.  It is how we attempt to handle conflict that separates us from others and helps in the building of character.  Those who do not agree in the way we handle issues are encouraged to fish elsewhere and are wished nothing but future success.

Q: How is the club governed?                                                                                                                                                                                       A: Even though we have elected officials, the tournaments are run by the tournament director with assistance from the tournament committee.  The President presides over meetings and the VP performs the same duties in his absence.  A secretary keeps notes and the treasurer keeps up with the finances of the club.  The tournament committee selects tournament dates and the locations of the tournaments.  By utilizing the tournament committee model, decisions are not dictated by any one person.
