Transfer Pump Replacement
Remove carpeting from the bottom of trunk. Next open the cover to fuel pump and remove as illustrated below.
Diagnoses and testing can be done before hand by testing fuel pressure and pump by
purchasing or making up test equipment. a few items you'll need are a fuel pressure tester and relay bypass.
Gauge is from water pressure tester for house at hardware store.
Keep the relay bypass in your glovebox. Should the fuel pump relay fail, you
can turn the pump on too get you home.
