I have decided to keep this around for a while longer since people are referring to it.
The famous Belgian surreal artist René Magritte was born in 1898 and died in 1967. This pen was made in celebration of his 100th birthday.
Limited Edition of 300, Parker Duofold 'Magritte 1898-1998'. The Lapis Lazuli blue Duofold fountain pen has the artist signature engraved in the cap. The wooden box is painted with the picture of “La Lunette d’Aproche” (The Looking Glass -1963); the paperweight is made from bronze in the shape of a masked apple, inspired by “Le Prêtre Marie”(The Married Priest -1961).
