Mystery

My Genealogy Mystery Problem

In the 1880 Census I could find my widowed Great-Great-Grand Mother, Cynthia and my Great-Grand Father, Julius. The reason that I could not initially find my family in the 1870 Census is because the name was obscured due to an over written entry.

This is an excerpt from the U. S. Census page 21 of Schedule I - Inhabitants in Sandy Ridge Beat No. 10, in the County of Lowndes, of Alabama, enumerated on the 12th day of August, 1870.

After cleaning out the background, Line 9 now looks like this.

And the Wife from Line 10 now looks like this.

Fade out the overlay of the Wife from the Husband and the family now looks like this.

Yielding Foneville, Abe 45 M, who is my Great-Great-Grand Father - Abe Fonville
