OUR MISSION IN THE  NORRISTOWN AREA

Stony Creek flows through the Norristown Farm Park, then Elmwood Park and  Norristown, Pennsylvania.  Its tributaries flow mostly through residential areas with some industries and farms along the way. The members of the Stony Creek Watershed  Committee are volunteers dedicated to monitoring the water quality of Stony Creek and its tributaries.    We want  Stony Creek to be a suitable habitat for the fish, herons, egrets, ducks and aquatic life that populate the stream and provide enjoyment for the children and adults who walk through the Norristown Farm Park and neighboring streambeds.
