Our name Hen-der-hatters is
derived from the town in which we live. Soon after we
disorganized, one of Mother of Vice Judy's chat sisters sent her a
purple hen (i.e. chicken) that wears a red hat and dances the "chicken
dance."
The hen attends all our
meetings and spontaneously bursts out with loud music, at which time we
all stand up and do the CHICKEN DANCE.
We've become known around
town as the red hat chicken dance group. Red Hatters everywhere,
