The First Nashville Boot Scoot was held at Opryland
Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, on March 31 - April 2, 2005. Judy,
Karen, and Sue attended some of the functions along with our friends
from other Red Hat Chapters whom we have met on the Queen Mother Board.
Thursday night was the Get Acquainted Dinner with entertainment by
the infamous Big Purple Undies. They truly know Red Hat humor
(although they are both Pink Hatters).
Friday was lunch at the Belle
Meade Mansion and Jet's Toast. Jet was truly Queen for a Day, a
title she has earned with her
Red Hat
spirit! Unfortunately, Hysterian Sue was unable to attend, so
pictures are not available at this time.
Saturday morning was the
Pajama Breakfast. What a colorful bunch of pajamas! And what
a colorful bunch of women!! Amazing what we will wear in public
while wearing a RED
HAT!!
Sunday morning the Bubble Butts met at Bob Evans Restaurant for one last
round of laughter before everyone departed for home. There were
even a few serious moments as we showered Deb with gifts and mementos
before her departure to Kuwait this summer.
