okay, so it was a little bit longer than that. in august, geoff and i went on a 7-day caribbean cruise -- my first-ever venture out of the country (besides canada) and i even got my passport stamped! (i was going to scan the passport stamp as proof but then it occurred to me that might be something i could get arrested for...)
