Trencher's Quest

Why is this site called Trencher's Quest? Well, one of the main heroes of the story I am creating is known as Trencher because of the large trenchcoat he wears, but he's not such a bad guy. I was known as Trencher on the web at one time, but I have chosen to change it to Foxdrew.

Why Foxdrew? Well, I love foxes and it just so happens that my last name means "fox". My first name is Andrew and I like to draw, so "drew" fits well as a suffix. You can also call me T.Q. Foxdrew, referring to the initials for Trencher's Quest and because it rhymes. ;)

A little bit about myself? Well, I was born in '73, I grew up in Sunnyvale, California and moved to Littleton, Colorado at the end of '85. I had always had a love for G.I. Joe action figures and cartoons such as Robotech, Transformers, M.A.S.K., and Thundercats. Creating stories revolving around the figures and toys I owned was an exciting way to spend the afternoon with one of my friends back then. Soon, I began to collect comics and dreamed of someday being a comic artist. I took classes at a community college in graphic design and illustration to increase my artistic talents, but I eventually realized that I wouldn't be able to handle pumping out comic pages day and night even if my art was good enough. My latest and foremost plan is to write a trilogy (and maybe more) of books with illustrations based on the story and characters I have developed. Someday, I plan to have it translated into an anime, toys, t-shirts, and the works.

I have a new job at a large auto dealership called Burt Automotive Network. No, not as a salesman. I work in the marketing department as a Customer Retention Rep. It is a small department, but our job is important. We make phone calls and send out letters to the customers we already have to try and keep them happy.
