New Projects
FOX Environmental, LLC was recently contracted by Bartow County, Georgia to design and implement a long-term monitoring program that meets the regulatory requirements of their Watershed Protection Plan as well as all monitoring requirements of the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District (MNGWPD).  FOX has conducted numerous watershed assessments, performed long-term water monitoring and prepared watershed protection plans for municipal throughout the State of Georgia, including: Griffin; Cumming; Temple; Cedartown; Commerce; Dallas; Buford; and Paulding County, Georgia.


 
FOX assisted Paulding and Bartow Counties and the Cities of Cumming, Cartersville, Tyrone, Hiram, and Dallas achieve compliance with the EPD/ MNGWPD wastewater, source water and stormwater requirements.  The Firm is currently under contract to assist the Cities of Monroe, Cartersville and Villa Rica, Georgia through the process.  Several municipalities are contracting with FOX to ensure commitments are met and compliance sustained over time.

Pollution Prevention Jeopardy is a hit!  FOX’s new on-site training course teaches municipal employees why and how to incorporate pollution prevention best management practices (BMPs) into all operations and maintenance activities to reduce and eliminate polluted stormwater runoff.  Topics are initially presented in a classroom format and then emphasized through an interactive game of Pollution Prevention Jeopardy complete with prizes for all participants.  Cartersville, Bartow County, Lee County, Auburn, Dallas, Flowery Branch and Oakwood recently contracted with FOX to hold this exciting training.  Several participants noted that it was the best training class they had taken in years.

Recent Collaborations
Jordan, Jones and Goulding, Inc. recently hired FOX Environmental, LLC to perform a Preliminary Environmental Assessment of a proposed lane expansion of a ten-mile segment of Rockbridge Road in Dekalb County, Georgia.

FOX Environmental, LLC recently contracted with CCR Environmental, Inc. and Environmental Laboratories and Services, Inc. to conduct long-term monitoring of streams that flow through the Cities of Temple, Carrolton, Cedartown, Commerce, Buford and Dallas, Georgia.
