Our Family

This is an unbiased chronicle of our beautiful family
(Mostly focused on our granchildren)
Here's my wife with our younger daughter and her son, Sam. Our Geddes Grandsons visiting my office on August 15, 2008 where they mooched cookies from Papa Frank.

Reading a Big Ball of String Mama Lynnie found a copy of A Big Ball of String and brought it.  Here she's reading it to Will and Josh.

Josh has been in a "string phase" lately - collecting string and stringing it through anything and everything.
Our Eldest Daughter always insures that the family gets together at the end of the day and reads the scriptures.  It's the Beginning Reader's version for Josh but Will is actually read from the Book of Mormon.

They have a family prayer and a story reading followed by bed.

Gene is an active participant - he's supporting the whole family!
Wrapping Up the Day
Mama Lynnie and Evan Meanwhile, Mama Lynnie and Evan are bonding!

Reason for long interlude

On December 20th, Mary Lynn asked me to go get the mail.  Unfortunately, when I got to the end of the drive way, I slipped and, in the process of falling, broke my left ankle (double fracture) and the small bone just below the knee.
Here's some pictures of my cast and my foot after the cast was removed.
Cast - 1 Numerous people signed my cast and one, Larry Murdock, put his brand on it!

By the way, a great ice breaker for a CTR 6 class is to get each class member to sign their name on your cast!
This is my foot immediately after the cast removal.  The foot is swollen and we won't discuss the cleanliness of the foot.  Needless to say, After the non-load-bearing boot was put on, I went home and sat in the bath for a half hour. Foot without cast
