Mornings are warm and humid. Evenings and the early night are decorated with fireflies. Ripening melons fill the vegetable garden with a tempting aroma. Zuchinnis are abundant. There are snap beans, shell beans and lima beans. Tomatoes lie red in the sun. Peaches are ripe. Borders are bright with phlox, lilies, rudbeckia and roses. Summer doesn't get much better than August. main page | gardening links | site map |
