Well met, good traveler!

You have reached the home page for the Sacramento Guild House of St. Andrew's Royal Scottish Renaissance Guild.

We invite you to settle in and join the talk of olden tymes.

The House meets once or twice a month (or when the feeling strikes us) to prepare for upcoming Guild events, or to discuss our Ren experiences, answer questions, take classes, create favors, watch historical 'magic box' shows, and whatever else may come up.

The members of the Sacramento House continue to serve vital roles in St. Andrew's Guild.
Besides being active in the Royal Guard, the members are integral parts of the
  Highlander Household and the Courtiers.

A Brief History of the Sacramento House:

Kyleigh and I (William Fraser) started in St. Andrew's a few years ago (2001), stumbling into this hobby as many others have.
We soon found ourselves coordinating the (re-)opening of the Sacramento chapter of St. Andrew's.
Lady Mairi Campbell had acted as Chatelaine years back, and we were asked to attempt to re-open a local House for people of the Sacramento area and beyond.
What commenced was a wonderful year filled with new friends and pleasant memories. The crazy spirit of the Sacramento House was borne pretty early, and continues to this day. Revelry, comraderie, and openness are hallmarks of the House. We seldom pass up a chance to throw a party, and some great traditions were started. Many members made significant contributions to the Guild, and we continue to offer ideas and effort to this day.

If you are interested in joining a light-hearted group of Rennaissance re-enactors, or just would like to know more about it, drop us or the MacLarens a line.
