Election Fever

In October  we had two regular meetings plus, of course, regular club member sightings at the Stockton, Fresno, and Peninsula shows.

Don Ehlers had previously shown us an original San Leandro $20 bank note. They are very scarce and some of those that exist are "zombies" or damaged notes. Ken Barr  looked through his collection, and found one of those "zombies" of the same note (pictured above). Nice to know  at least some of these local rarities are staying local!

At  our November 9th meeting, we encourage you to bring along some Veteran's Day Memorabilia for Show and Tell. Of course, regular numismatic items are also still welcome.

Then, just when you thought all the hoopla was over regarding the US Presidential election, along comes another important election. At our November 23rd meeting we will be electing our club Officers and Board for 2005. The new board will take over their duties in
