Can you believe Summer is over? I think I blinked and missed it here. Anyway, it's October now, and with the leaves turning, we know Fall is definitely here.
In September we met twice. At the first meeting, we had a lively Show and Tell followed by the auction and raffle. At the second meeting we also had a program entitled "Ten Things You Forgot You Knew About Quarters", presented by yours truly. One of my favorite coins is shown above!
As well as showing a type set of US Quarters, I included a quiz to test your knowledge. Many thanks to everyone who participated, I hope you enjoyed it, and congratulations to those who answered the questions correctly and received Iowa state quarters.
The set of club medals we had up for auction did not sell, and so the set, or individual medals are still available from Don Ehlers.
