August 24th meeting:

Our second meeting was opened by Alan Douglass--with a microphone! Now hopefully folks at the back will be able to hear better.  We welcomed guest Mike Iwaski, and our newest member Steve Nagy.

Bill Burke kicked off Show and Tell with 5 peso unsigned note. Don Barsi showed a 35th Long Beach CSNA medal. Wei Chang displayed a 1881 Cameo proof dollar. Tony Wu shoed us a couple of error notes--a "Funnyback", and a 1935 Silver certificate.  Matt Hutcheson read "An Ode to a Coin Collectors Wife" which we hope to publish in a future issue.
