Whoa! Hello. I haven't updated in a bit. I've just been trotting along doing school jazz, napping, watching TV when I can, etc. I'm too lazy to write at the moment, seeing as my three-day weekend is 2/3 of the way through already. Uhm, delivered a speech on Friday that I had serious qualms about. It was my first time doing a persuasive speech since my last competition, so, naturally, bad memories, lol. But it went well, and it was well received. Rusty and I have just been watching a bunch of movies and jazz, though I don't believe we can count The Grudge as one we actually "watched." I spent the whole time hiding behind my sleeve or playing with a highlighter. Needless to say, we turned on a light very quickly and stopped it early in :). Well, first semester is over and second is half way through! Usually worries about grades and such, but Christmas and the end of the year is so near! I never believed it, when I was younger, that years could pass by so quickly. Time tends to pass when A) you are having fun and B) you are too busy working and sleeping to count the days that have passed by. I need to get out there and do some living, none of that "x more minutes/days/years until I get to blahblah, so I'll just hang in there..." What's the point of living if all it is is waiting for the next thing to come along, and watch it whiz past you? I'm pretty sure a lot of people are very mystified as to why Egyptian pharaohs spent their whole lives preparing to die, waiting on that next day to come... if only they may have a heavenly and peaceful afterlife. Nah, man, for now, you're stuck in this world. Today is reality and tomorrow is a dream, so live your life for Pete's sakes. Rant over, class dismissed, and have a nice day :)! Valete! |
