From the parent of a U-12 camper last summer:  "Having the opportunity to prepare for the upcoming season with such great leaders and instructors was a perfect way to start the Fall.  It was obvious that you had prepared and tailored to the needs of this group.  Thanks again for your patience, kindness, and great hospitality.  We look forward to seeing you again next summer."

What’s Still So Different About Our Camps?
1
We Are Selective:
We intentionally limit participation in each session of the Frostburg Soccer Camp programs.  We have designed a unique program that provides customized and innovative soccer and teambuilding activities on the best fields on our campus.  We are not just a for-profit soccer business that is after the bottom-line, but a soccer program interested in sharing knowledge and our passion for the game.
2
We Guarantee a College-Level Coach will train Your Team for Every Session:
Our staff is comprised ONLY of coaches with U.S. college experience! We do not have paid "trainers" or current players responsible for providing instruction. Players and teams will be instructed and evaluated in all training sessions and games by coaches with college coaching experience who clearly understand and will convey the demands of the collegiate game.
3
We Provide Unique Teambuilding Activities:
Every day at our camp, a unique seminar or activity is conducted with your team to build team unity.   We conduct evening sessions to develop your team's goals and help them identify the sporting values important to them.
4
We Customize our Curriculum for Your Team's Needs:
Our first priority is to improve your team’s play and prepare them for the upcoming season.  We don’t teach you soccer “our way” but rather build training sessions and objectives to meet the immediate needs of your team.  Our staff will work with each team's coaches and use their own daily evaluations to target the most urgent training needs for the team and players.  We also utilize certified officials to referee every full-sided game while at the camp.
5
We Use Only our Best Fields & All Rooms are Air-Conditioned and have Microwave/Refrigerator Units:
All of the grass fields we use on the FSU campus are irrigated which makes them plush and green all summer!  We also access our Sprinturf Stadium field for evening games as well. We use ONLY air-conditioned rooms with microwave/refrigerator units for ALL campers and our dining services are outstanding.

Train for 3 days like a college team on the campus of Frostburg State University!

 Camp Program and Specifics:
Our Cost:
$295 per camper - for 7 training sessions and teambuilding activities over 3 days and 2 nights.  The fee includes accommodations, meals, a camp shirt, and all materials associated with the camp program.   There is a 12-player minimum per team for this team camp (although teams can be combined if necessary and space allows).  A $100 initial payment is required upon registration with the balance due prior to the start of camp.
Registration:
The Easiest Registration Process You’ll Ever Experience!
After confirming your team's place at the camp, we'll set up a meeting for your players and parents in your community and we'll do the rest.  If you prefer, we can register teams entirely on-line or mail home paper forms working directly with your players and families.  Coaches are welcome and encouraged to attend the camp and watch any or all of the team sessions.  Coaches can work with our staff to target your team’s specific training needs throughout the camp.
Our Location and Facilities:
Frostburg State University is located in Frostburg, MD midway between Pittsburgh and the Baltimore/Washington area in the Allegany Mountains of Western Maryland. It is conveniently located just off I-68 a little more than 2 hours from either metro area. Because of its location and elevation, the climate at FSU is ideal for summer soccer training and the fields are all irrigated and kept in beautiful condition all summer. The residence halls are air-conditioned, have modern furniture, microwave/refrigerator units, cable TV, internet access, and are just steps from the Dining Hall. Teams will be housed in double rooms but in "quads" or 4-room halls that share a large bathroom. The Aramark-catered Dining Hall has a variety of hot entrees, a soup and salad bar, a cold-cut station, and fruit and sport drinks at every meal.
Our Curriculum:
Morning field sessions typically include position-specific exercises and games designed to meet the demands of each unit of your team: forwards, midfielders, defenders, and your goalkeeper.  Tactical team topics are different for each team and are chosen with the team coach or based on the team's evaluation at camp.  Some examples of tactical team session topics at our camps include:
-team shape and patterns of play -playing with a "sweeper/keeper"
-playing high vs. low-pressure -playing a direct or indirect style
-midfield possession -flank play/crossing and heading
-playing with a 3-front -zonal defending (w/ 3 vs 4 backs)
