About Frostburg Soccer Camps and the Director
The Camp:
The Frostburg Soccer Camps overnight programs were begun in 2003 as Brian Parker took the helm of the women's soccer program at his alma mater.  Frostburg Soccer Camps, LLC was created in 2006 is an independent entity to bring under one roof all registration, administration, and staffing operations.  Frostburg Soccer Camps complies with all State of Maryland Youth Camp Certification requirements established by the Maryland Community Health Administration.
The Story:
"For years as both a high school and club coach, I was looking for a really unique summer camp experience for my players that was not just like every other overnight camp.   Of course, I wanted to prepare my team and players for the fall season with good training and good competition, but I also wanted the players to work directly with an experienced college-level coach on college-quality fields.  I was also looking for good teambuilding programs and was hoping to help prepare my players for the college admissions process.  In over 7 years of searching, I never found that camp!  When I took the head coaching position at FSU in 2002, I immediately began to create that ideal camp and our current programs are the evolution of years of both research and direct experience.  I have had the unique opportunity of working on both sides of the camp business and on both sides of the college admissions process.  What we can promise is that our camp programs are well-prepared, unique, customized, and that your players will get personal and professional attention while here.  No one is ever treated like just another camper or just another team at our camps."  bdp
