FubBackG.EXE - Image Sources

All of the images found on my site are altered.  Below are links to the various websites where I found the original images, as well as my comments about the site's content.  Sites are included on this list as expressed by the websites owner: see authorizations.  I have used a star to designate my favorite sites.

1000Pictures.com This website contains hundreds of free pictures, most of them are around 640x480.  Many categories other than military, including animals, landscapes, and space pictures.  Military pictures are exclusively of aircraft.

Fighter-Planes.com Awesome Site - 5 Stars!  What makes this site so unique is the additional information available per plane.  The site owner dedicates a page per decade, from the 1930's through present day.  On the "decade page", each plan is listed with a thumbnail picture, and a set of specs, including Nationality, Year, Dimensions, Armament, Speed, and a few others.  From here you can click on the picture to get the full size image, or click on the plane name to get a full page description, including different specifications for different models in the series.

Navy NewsStand - Photo Galleries An absolute BOATLOAD of pictures (sorry, the pun is intentional).  The images are all high definition (2100x1500 or higher), very well categorized, and all come with a nice description.  Once inside a gallery, you can use the "4 up" or "8 up" links to view more thumbnails per page.  When I requested authorization, I received a reply from someone at the Pentagon, very cool!  Even if they did ask me to tell you that "U.S. Navy imagery used with permission, without endorsement expressed or implied".

ZAP16.COM - Fighter Planes & Aircraft: Pictures and Facts Very nice site with all original pictures - strictly an aircraft website.  I went straight to the wallpaper page for all of the images used so far, but the rest of the site contains many other images grouped by plane with facts on each plane.
