JBQ Officials Tests

We ask that all officials are trained and tested over basic JBQ rules:

Searcher and Discovery league require 4 officials

Pee Wee's require 2 (Quizmaster & Scorekeeper)

Here is a brief summary of the various official positions:

Quiz master- runs each match- reads questions, judges answers as correct or incorrect

Judge- verifies that quizmaster is following rules, can call for a group judgment of answers         

Timekeeper- limits quizzers answers to 30 sec

Score keeper- records all points during the match to determine the winner

These tests reflect the Indiana JBQ rules which may differ from the National JBQ rules.
