These poems come from her heart. For those who are reading this page, I hope after reading these poems you walk away knowing that GOD has his reasons for letting these situations happen. How do you comfort a daddy
Whose girls weren’t meant to be
How do you wipe the tears away
When he can hardly see
How do you make it better
When you don’t know what to say
How do you soothe his constant cries of
“I just wanted them to stay!!”
What do you do when you look at him
And you see the hurt inside
What do you do to dry his tears
When for hours he has cried
What do you do when seeing him weak
Is so very hard to do
He’s been so strong while you were not
Now he’s barely getting through
How do you fix a daddy’s heart
And calm his many fears
He waited so long to see them
In fact, he has waited YEARS
He wanted to see them all grown up
And he loved them from the start
They had him wrapped around their fingers
Now he keeps them alive in his heart

We just dropped in this Mother’s Day
To wish the best to you
And tell you that we didn’t forget
And we are ALWAYS with you.
We are with you when you think we’re not
We see you all the time
We see you when you’re stressed all day
And when you cry sometimes.
You’re the ONLY “nana” we have
We know you miss us, and we miss you too
We keep you safe all day long
And whisper “we love you!”
Heaven is GREAT Nana!
We laugh & play ALL day long
With Baby Chris & Jaz & Daddy Jack
And Mama Tina sings us songs
They all wanted us to tell you
That they miss you too
As much as you miss them
And they ALL love you!
Mommy and Daddy did write this
But we told them what to say
We said “tell her we love her
And Happy Mother’s Day!”
Love, Laila & Jaida
We just dropped in this Mother’s Day
To wish the best to you
And tell you that we didn’t forget
And we are ALWAYS with you.
We are with you when you think we’re not
We see you all the time
Like when you rub our feet at nite
And when you cry sometimes.
We feel the pain in your heart
When you see our daddy’s smile
And see the hurt mommy’s eyes
We wish we could have stayed a while
We follow you all day long
To make sure your are okay
We hear the wishes from your heart
You wish that we could stay
But like you told mommy
“A lady always knows when to leave”
And little ladies we are
So we went and got our wings
We know you hear us whisper
“Grammie don’t worry”, in your ear
We are not far away
Infact we are right here”
Mommy and Daddy did write this
But we told them what to say
We said “tell her we love her
And Happy Mother’s Day!”

They fought for space inside of me
And then they fought to breathe
We fought to keep them here with us
But instead they had to leave
Now we fight the lump in our throat
From fighting back the tears
And still we have to fight the ones
Who took away their years
I’ve learned a lot about fighting
Since God doesn’t make mistakes
I’m sure He fights with himself
Over which angels He takes
We knew from the second we saw them
As tiny dots in my womb
That our little girls would be fighters
From their birth ‘til in their tomb
We were surprised – to say the least
That their time went by so fast
The only time we held our angels
Was for moments when they passed
We fight with ourselves everyday
The urge to buy baby things
But our girls are wearing what NO ONE sells
Our girls are wearing Angel Wings

I’ve always heard it hurts so bad
To lose someone you love
I never thought it would happen to me
But my girls are in Heaven above
I wanted them OH so much
Right from the very start
Now all I have are memories
And a completely shattered heart
I felt them grow inside me
And felt them kick and play
I held them for a short while
And then they went away
Their spirits were so very strong
But their bodies so very weak
They tried so hard to stay with us
But our angels we could not keep
I’m reminded of them throughout the day
Like in their daddy’s eyes
I hear them when it’s late at night
And search to find their cries
I wish I could have kept them
On Earth – right here with me
But I know God has other plans
Which I’ll have to wait and see
