my original exposure to leonard cohen was years ago when i saw a movie
in which his music figured prominently: "mccabe and mrs. miller",
starring warren beatty and julie christie (good flick, by the way).
do you know which, if any, of his albums those tunes appear on? is a
soundtrack available? his music in that movie was really haunting and
left a permanent impression on me.

The songs on the soundtrack are from his first album, "Songs of..."
(1967).
