Probably a repeat. It has been shown a couple of times here (though I
found out afterwards). I have an audio tape of it. Cohen does these
songs:
    First We Take Manhattan
    Tower of Song
    Everybody Knows
    Ain't No Cure for Love
    The Partisan
    Joan of Arc
    Jazz Police
    If It Be Your Will
    Take This Waltz

Do you want to trade it or FOR it??

SUBJECT: LC on Austin City Limits...

While browsing through the my local edition of TV Guide for 1/5-1/11,
I noticed that a nearby PBS station will be airing an Austin City Limits
with Leonard Cohen. Featuring "Joan of Arc". Is this new, or is it a repeat?
I ask because Austin City Limits is distributed in a funny fashion, with
various PBS stations showing it whenever they feel like it. For instance,
there are 3 PBS stations nearby which air the show, at different times.
And not even on the same day (one station is a full week behind the other 2!).
But the station airing this particular episode doesn't usually broadcast
the show, which is why I'm curious. So which is it - are they ahead of
everyone, or are they raiding the archives?

If it is a repeat, has anyone seen it? Could you tell us about it? Have it?
Wanna trade (I've got lots, etc.)?

BTW, also coming up soon on Austin City Limits is James McMurtry. He's well
worth checking out (Kind of like an intelligent John Cougar Mellencamp, with
a few shakes of cynicism and pathos thrown in (sound like anyone we know?)).

he didn't write any poems concerning Christmas...)
