Well, I haven't gotten any new sign-ups today, so I guess it's time to
move. The Leonard Cohen mailing list is now launched! As of today, we
have 31 members, including several in Europe and one in Australia.


This is the shakedown message. If there are any bugs I haven't worked
out, please let me know. Anyone who is an expert with mailing lists,
by all means make yourself known!


Now, important administrative information:


To send a message to the list, send to lcohen-talk@unix.sri.com (Internet)
or to {hplabs,rutgers}!sri-unix!lcohen-talk (uucp)
uunet!sri.unix.com!lcohen-talk might also work for uucp mailings.


I've set the mailing list up so that if you REPLY to a message, your
reply will go to the whole mailing list. This may not work with every
mailer, but that's what I tried to do. My goal was to keep the
discussion public by default, for maximum interest and information. So
if you want to send a private message, don't do it with a reply. If
you want to reach me, send to cole@unix.sri.com,
lcohen-admin@unix.sri.com or lcohen-request@unix.sri.com.


I will be keeping an archive of messages sent to the list.
