Hi Folks,
        I just wanted to know if any of you had seen a late night TV
show two years ago which featured Cohen singing and Sonny Rollins
soloed on it!!!!! I remember switching on the TV to catch Rollins'
closing solo and thought, "Hmmm, this sounds like Sonny Rollins" and
couldn't catch any of the words to the song. Then the camera panned
Cohen and he said "On tenor sax, Sonny Rollins, etc." I think it was
the David Sanborn show (I must apologise for being almost entirely
ignorant of what goes on on TV). Does anybody out there have any
details? Knowing what Sonny Rollins can do with the simplest of tunes,
and from whatever little I remember of the solo, it should be a
recording well worth getting a hold of.
