Historic Hauntings at Gadsby's

Tavern Museum
October 2004

Each year Gadsby's Tavern Museum and the Carlyle House in Old Town Alexandria VA are seen in a different, more mysterious light in a fun, family-oriented Halloween event. Historic Hauntings includes spooky tours, costumed characters, and trick-or-treat candy, not to mention another chance to wear your favorite costume.  This year Gadsby's Tavern Museum Society decided to take  pictures of the ghosts, goblins, and regular folks who came to enjoy a great fright night at the Tavern.

If you were there, thanks for coming.  If you weren't, you missed a great time.  Come see us next year.  If you can't wait that long, come visit the Museum during a less spooky day-time visit or for one of our other special functions such as costume balls, appraisal affairs, or the swordsmen's rendezvous.  To learn about and see some pictures from these events, visit the GTMS website.

But you came here to see pictures of the folks waiting for their Gadsby's Haunting.  Our snapshots are arranged on five pages in the order that the visitors arrived.  So click away on the list below and tell your parents and your grandparents and your friends where to find you on the web at www.gadsbystavernmuseum.us
