Gail Brüder-Werner, a
Florida-based artist, has exhibited her work at a number of venues and
has built a large following of clientele and supporters. In addition,
she has worked with a range of fine arts organizations as both an
artist and an educator.
A color enthusiast, Brüder-Werner's works have integrated her
background in textile design with a far-away culture that has always
held her interest, Asia.
Her focus embraces themes ranging from the
subtle properties of a woman contemplating change to provocative
mythology, the beauty of everyday foliage and the scents of tea.
Brüder-Werner uses research and
personal ideas to convey a moment of contemplation that offers a
glimpse into the often subtle cultures of the Far East.
A number of her life-size figures are
painted on interior doors. Her recent works have shifted to include the
following
series called Asian, Asian Influence, Tropical Animals, Dancing Souls,
Inspirational Botanicals and Line Art series.
