LINKS TO BASIC INFORMATION ON EVOLUTION

Pip's Tiny color
Evidence for Evolution includes multiple converging lines of evidence (sequence, fossils, biogeography, embryology, etc.) all leading to the same evolutionary conclusion.

The Multiple Nested Hierarchy:
  1. The nested hierarchy of morphology (comparative anatomy).
  2. The nested hierarchy of genetics (genomes).
  3. The nested hierarchy of embryonics (comparative embryology).
  4. The nested hierarchy of fossils.
  5. The nested hierarchy of biogeography (similarity by geography).
  6. Et cetera.
Each one of these distinct hierarchies is evidence for biological evolution all by itself!
The observation that multiple hierarchies match
is one small part of the overwhelming evidence
that has established the fact of biological evolution.

Biological Evolution is: "The change in allelic frequencies with time. An allele is a variation in the nucleotide sequence associated with a particular loci (or gene) on a chromosome of a particular organism. The ratio of the absolute number of a given allele to the total number of alleles found at a given loci is called the frequency of that allele. Any mechanism which results in a change in the frequency of any allele is called biological evolution."
Man, I sure wish I knew what the Hell that means… Oh, O.K. Got it!
