 "General Douglas MacArthur Tunnel" on Route 1 in San Francisco through the Presidio between Lake Street and
Highway 101, then on to the Golden Gate Bridge. Named by Senate Concurrent Resolution 86,
Chapt. 94 in 1986. General MacArthur served in World II and the Korean War.
This tunnel had been known as "The Presidio Tunnel".
