Meet Directors FAQs
  1. Where can I get bib numbers. go-orienteering.com has them for $10 per 100. Custom bibs are made by Marathon, Rodeo, & Electric City printing companies.
  2. How do I get free bib numbers?  Two ways:Contract go-orienteering.com for A-meets. Contact Runner's World 4 months before your race for free bib numbers and a listing in the magazine. You will distribute RUNNER'S WORLD subscription offers to all of your race participants. You also promise to send a complete mailing list (first & last name, address, city, state, zip/postal code) of the runners within 30 days after the event. The following format is needed from anyone wishing to submit their list on disk: IBM compatible, standard ASCII format (where fields are in quotes and separated by commas). Put only one race list per disk. If you overestimated with the amount of runners, please return unused supplies with your list.
  3. Is it ethical to give your contestants information away? If you warn them before they send in any money, nobody will have the right to complain. You could charge extra for those wishing to have their information kept private.
