Frequently Asked Questions

The following list of frequently asked questions will hopefully help you resolve any rule interpretations or general ambiguitites that arise while playing the James Bond CCG. If you have a question that isn't addressed here, always use the spirit of the James Bond world and common sense to resolve it.

Some of the questions here were answered by the Target Games staff (as noted). However, do not consider this an official FAQ.

Q:

Is there anywhere I can still buy the James Bond CCG?

A:

There was a very low distribution of the James Bond CCG in the United States, so it is a very hard game to find here. Most card dealers or comic book stores never sold it to begin with, and other stores have long since sold what they had. I did hear from a card dealer that there was a wider distribution in Europe (especially in England), so you may be able to find the game there. However, I never did pursue that lead.

Every once in a while, you can find a single starter box or a box of boosters/starters being sold on ebay or another online auction. That is, I'm afraid, your best bet.

Q:

Where is the uncommon card "Blown Away"?

A:

There is no BLOWN AWAY card. The text for the card was accidentally replaced by the text for OUSTED, so there actually are two different OUSTED cards (same text, different photo), where the one with the GOLDENEYE TANK actually should have been the BLOWN AWAY card.

The text for the BLOWN AWAY card should have been: "Play during your turn. Discard any one VEHICLE in play."

Q:

I have some Dr. No cards that have a 5 for the PV or CV numbers, but I also have a few Dr. No cards whose PV and CV areas are blank. Is this a misprint?

A:

You're right, it's a printing error on our part. It should read PV 5 and CV 5 as it says above.

Q:

In your Agency, you have Q and M, two Bonds, and a bunch of Q cards.

Can you use Q to move all of the Q cards to one Bond to overcome a mission, and then use Q again to move all of the Q cards to the other Bond, so that you can complete another mission using M's special ability?

A:

Yes
