Materials:
RH Two strands of Worsted Weight Crochet Hook: Size H or size needed for gauge.
Size: 13
|
Note: 2 dc tog - Holding last loop on hook, work 2 dc. Yo, draw through all 3 loops on hook.
Round 1:
Make a loop, ch 2, 9 hdc, join with a sl st in top of ch 2.
Note: Beginning ch counts as first stitch.
Round 2:
Ch 3 , dc in same st, 2 dc in each st around. (20 dc). Join with a sl st in top of ch 3.
Round 3:
Ch 3, dc in next 20 sts, ch 2. Join with a sl st in top of ch 3.
At this time weave in the ends securely.
Round 4:
Ch 3, 20 dc, in ch 2 sp work (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) (26 dc). Join with a sl st in top of ch 3.
Rounds 5 - 11:
Ch 3, dc in next 20 sts, sk next 2 dc, in ch 2 sp work ( 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc), sk next 2 sts, dc in last st. Join with a sl st in top of ch 3. Continue working in rows after Round 11.
Note: Following Rows are turned at the end of the row.
Row 12:
Turn, sl st in previous st. Turn. Ch 2, dc in next 21 sts. Ch 2, turn.
Rows 13 - 16 (or more, as needed for size)
21 dc, ch 2, turn. ( 22 dcs).
Row 17 Decrease row:
Dc in next 8 sts, work ( 2 dc together) twice, dc in next 9 sts. Ch 2, turn.
Row 18 Decrease row:
Dc in next 7 sts, work ( 2 dc together) twice. Dc in next 8 sts.
Round 19.
Join ends with a sl st, ch 1, work ( 2 sc in enc of each row) 7 times, 2 sc in next 2 dc, 2 sc in ch 2 sp, 2 sc in next 2 dc, ( 2 sc in end of each Row) 7 times, join with a sl st in first sc. FO, leaving 18" tail to sew back edge seam.
Note: To make smaller sizes, make fewer rounds between Rounds 5 - 11.
