RH 4 ply Hunter Green, Orange 

Crochet Hook: Size G. 

 
 

Note: 

1. Each Bullion St. should be 1" long. 

Pattern Stitches

Bullion Stitch (Bullion St.):
Yo 15 times LOOSELY, EVENLY, insert hook into next st, yo, draw up a loop, even with the 15 loops, yo, draw through all 17 loops, (wiggling the hook and rolling the yarn back and forth) - Bullion made.

Center:
With Size G Hook and Hunter Green ch 6, turn.  Leave an 18" tail for vine.

Round 1:

Sc in second ch from hook, sl st in next ch, sl st in first  ch to form ring.
 

Round 2:
Ch 1, 4 sc in ring, skip  stem, work 3 sc on the other side of stem, join with a sl st.   FO Hunter Green leaving 18" end for second vine.  With E hook,  ch 9 on each end for vines.

Round 3:
Join Orange,  ch 3, work 15 yo bullion, ch 1, in same st work 15 yo bullion, ch 1.  Work  *( 15 yo bullion, ch 1 ) twice in next st.  Continue from * around unravel beginning ch 3.  Join with a sl st in top of first bullion.  16 bullion  st.  Tack down vines, tack stem.

Round 4:
Work sc in each sp between bullions around.  16 sc.  Insert 2 cotton balls.

 

Option: Scented - stretch cotton ball flat and add 1/2 t. of pumpkin pie spices - cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger.  Close up cotton ball with a piece of scotch tape.  Cover with other cotton ball.

 

Round 5:
(Work 2 sc tog, work sc) around.  12 sc.  FO Orange, leaving end long enough to work around opening.  Draw shut, secure tightly.

 

 

Hot Glue Pin on back of punkin.  Glue the pin about half way between the top edge and the middle of the back of the punkin.
