I am an avid gardener and enjoy working in my own yard and others with my landscape design company, Creative Petals. I also enjoy sharing my experience with others and teach gardening classes. Of course, you have to take pictures of your garden and I have a link below to my garden through the years to see how it has progressed since the beginning and progress throughout the year for blooms.

There will also be a new link soon to MY GALLERY. This will include more specific garden and other nature photos as I will be starting an endeavor in selling some of my photography. Please feel free to browse both and comments are more than welcome.

I started my design business because I have run out of space in my own yard and would love to pass on the art of gardening to others. I do all types of maintenance and clean-up work as well as consultations and design work. I also teach gardening classes. Please feel free to contact me for class schedules. It would be great to see you there!

... my likes

I like all types of garden styles as long as they please the the eye. My garden is a cottage romantic style in the backyard with a wonderful water feature and lots of color. In the front I have have remained a bit more passive and formal.

I also teach gardening classes locally through our Community Education programs at Davison, LakeVille, Bendle/Carman Ainsworth and Grand Blanc schools as well as Mott Community College Lapeer branch. I also teach at Carlson Greenhouse in Fenton and T&Z Farms in Goodrich. My classes range from bulbs and design to clean up and adding art to the garden.

• This is a great software and information site for gardeners. The software is very user friendly and helps gardeners keep track of their plants with an interactive journal which includes your own pictures.
• This is a gardening forum which I assist in. We answer all types of gardening questions and carry a general family banter while we are at it. It provides an intersting setting for snowbound gardeners in the winter with a wide range of countries and styles being represented
• This is a link to the photo albums of my yard. It chronicles from start to present by year. You will also see how a garden changes month to month with bloom cycles.
