Club members gathered to create and manage a 1700's garden.
Reeves-Reed Arboretum
The Club provided funds for the materials required to create a "Bog
Garden" at the Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit, and members have put
in volunteer hours at the Arboretum to assist in the physical aspect. The
bog has been dug, lined and filled, and has been planted with the appropriate
flora.
Wagner Farm Arboretum
The Wagner Farm Arboretrum has collaborated with The Gardeners
of Watchung Hills on the community garden. This collaboration resulted
in the grand opening of the Community and Giving Gardens in the Spring
of 2007.
