Yearly Trips

The trip this year will be to the Grounds for Sculpture. You've never seen anything like this before -- a sculpture park and museum in NJ. Cleverly landscaped acres provide a unique setting for a great variety of sculpture. Hundreds of beautiful conifers, flowering trees and shrubs line the paths. We will explore 2 excellent shops, a special exhibit, and some of the site's historic buildings from the 1920's and 1940's.

The 2006 trip was to the Chanticleer, a pleasure garden located in Wayne, PA. The trip began with a stop at a nearby huge nursery where many of us purchased lots of fabulous plants and garden items. Next, we were off to the Chanticleer. Upon arrival we enjoyed a delishious lunch at the picnic table under the trees. We were then led to the gardens by our own personal tour guides. It was a great day and fun was had by all!!
