Evergreen Chapter

Charter

The Evergreen Chapter of The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc. is located in the greater Puget Sound region of Washington. Satellite groups meet in Tacoma, Bainbridge Island, Seattle's Eastside and Vancouver, Washington. See more information regarding Satellite groups below. We have about 200 members and approximately 40 members attend our monthly meetings.

Meetings

Our general meetings are held the third Saturday of each month at the North Hill Community Club in Des Moines, Washington. The meetings begin at 10 AM and the room is reserved until 4:00 PM. Coffee and snacks are usually served at an 11:00 AM break. Participants should bring their tool kit, a name tag, lunch and a coffee cup. The highlights of each meeting are a stitching program and Show ‘N Tell.

From I-5 take Exit 149B, head West on SR-516 (Kent/Des Moines Rd) towards Des Moines. Bear right on to Marine View Dr South. Go left on South 216th Place. Go right on South 208th Street. Go right on 3rd Avenue South. The Club house is on the left side of the street.

Tacoma Satellite: meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm.

Bainbridge Island Satellite: meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 10:00am. Please contact evergreenega@hotmail.com.

Columbia View Special Interest Group: meets on the 1st Friday of the month at 10 AM in Vancouver, WA.

Eastside Evening Special Interest Group: usually meets the 3rd Tuesday at 6:30 PM. Location varies.

Join Us

Annual dues are $51. GPR plural member dues are $17. Out-of-region plural member dues are $22. Guests are welcome and are invited to join us for two meetings before committing to membership.
