Ah my Seestor just called. So much for cleaning. She wants to lunch. I don't think I've ever been to lunch with my sister. Funny that.

Well I took one look outside and decided that it would be better to clean up than venture out. I'm still digging the snow and all, but this is one of those days when it is better to be inside than out.

My place is not as bad as I exaggerated it to be. There were only two weeks worth of beer cans on the table. Ba dum dum. Don't forget, I am here to entertain you.

Now it would really sound like I'm whining if I bitched about what a complete slacker I have become on this vacation. Its not that I mind the vacation thing--but you should see the state of my fucking house. You'd think with this much time on my hands I'd have enough time to do the damned dishes and pick up the month's worth of beer cans that various folks have deposited on my kitchen table. Now in all fairness to my lazy ass, I haven't been home that much this week (and one might call it a blessed relief to be out of this sty) in any case, the state it is in is, to be blunt, a fucking embarrassment. So this morning I should clean, I suppose (by the way, I've perfected the sleep-in finally) but a lunch date with one of the womens I met on New Year sounds much more appealing. Of course I will have to avoid the "come back to my place" routine. The state of my place woul frighten even the most jaded.

Crap, I am supposed to meet up with my sister today too. Ah the sacrifices I make to not clean.

Well with the Gueveras in town, Susman is now leaving. He stopped by yesterday afternoon just to say goodbye before he took off. He was looking for a lull in the storm, I guess, and found it. It was a sad moment, but also one full of good feelings--feeling of renewal etc. blah blah blah.

Today I am going to wander the city for no apparent reason--after I help John dig out his car, that is.

So it was a welcome back party for the Gueveras--perhaps welcome back is not the right term--more like happy to see you party since they will return to law school soon. In any case, it was always great fun to hang out with them and all of the others. Thanks to Kendrakoo and Kunta too for hosting them.
