1) Friend Tif is snowshoeing for the cure for breast cancer this Saturday. My grandmother had breast cancer and thankfully lived through it. This was during the 70's when survival was much less certain, although survival rates for some forms of breast cancer are still not so good. What with the history of cancer in my family, I admire Tif for taking on the cause. If you have it in your heart, go pledge some money, or join in. I don't think it is too late and there may be an event in your area.
