My name is HOLLY , I am a Senegal Parrot.
Actually my real species name is Poicephalus but my owners can't remember scientific things like this.
I am small about 8 - 9 inches parrot of African ancestry but born and raised in the U.S.A.
At almost two years old I can sort of say a few words if you listen carefully.
I am not like most of my noisy relatives, I will whistle , chirp and make noises from time to time but most of the time I am pretty quiet.
My owner is trying to record some of my talking and chattering but I'm wise to his tricks and become quiet whenever he wants me to talk When he leaves the room I start up, and this drives them crazy. Hey , what can I say, I have to have some fun around here.
Maybe I'll let him take a few more pictures of me for my site.
