Worcester Police
I have listed some of the Worcester Police and Fire
talk groups. The most commonly used police groups are the two dispatch groups.
Most of the other groups seem to be used for unit to unit traffic. However, I
don't live within listening distance of Worcester and am out there only
infrequently.

All alarms are dispatched on
F-5 and initially operate on F-1. Single
company responses (including First Responder runs) stay on F-1. Box alarms and multi-company responses either
go to F-2 (north end) or F-3
(south
end), or F-4 if both F-2 & F-3 are in use.
Each radio has the E-911
talk group (included in all city radios) and two event channels (Event A and
Event B)
which can be accessed by multiple
city agencies. The mutual aid channel
can be patched to 33.62/33.70 if requested.
The simplex/talk around channel (859.4875) is programmed in all FD
radios (F-16, I think).
