Greetings! OK, it's been two years, but I finally put some pictures up. I am going to have to take some down as well, since I'm bumping up against the file size limit for this webpage. So far, the new stuff is the China pictures my Mom took this past August. Pics from my vacation, and a tribute to my late cat Nemo, are in the offing. Stay tuned!

For those who haven't been here in a while, the site has been redesigned slightly. Frames are gone, and navigation is now accomplished by using the "Previous" and "Next" buttons (the pointing hands) and the Menu buttons above. For convenience, these appear at the top of every page.

Note on website address: My provider, Comcast, has changed the URL (the website address) for my site. The old URL, mywebpages.comcast.net/gborst, will work for a while, but the new site is home.comcast.net/~gborst. Note the tilde (~) before my username in the address.

A note about e-mail: The single largest cause of receiving spam is posting one's complete e-mail address on a website. Automated programs ("bots") are sent by spammers out into the Internet to scan for such addresses, which then get added to customer lists for use by them and other spammers. The way around the problem is to present the address in such a fashion that it takes a human reader to use it (in this case, by deleting the word "nospam" from the address). That's why there is no longer a clickable link for e-mail.
