My grandfather, the first Glenn L. Borst, took a number of pictures before his death in 1964, which I recently obtained access to (thanks to my Aunt Maxine). These were taken as slides and converted to prints, which I have scanned and posted here. These pictures were all taken between 1957 and 1964. The first photo is a four-generation picture from 1957 or 1958. That's me on my father's lap, with his father, Glenn, behind him, and Glenn's father (my great-grandfather) Philo Custer, sitting next to my dad.
Technical notes: I have saved these images at 1024 wide or 768 high, which is somewhat larger than the other pictures on this website. Sorry about the long download time for those who still have a dial-up Internet account, rather than broadband. However, this size makes them suitable for full-screen wallpaper, if you have your resolution set to 1024 x 768, as is the norm these days. Also, as usual, if you hold your cursor over the thumbnail, a label will appear. I have used first names to label the pictures; see the "Family" page for who these people are, if you don't know. The only ones not mentioned there or above are Helen (my grandmother, Glenn's wife) and Herman (my next-door neighbor and best friend growing up). The other kids in some photos are neighbors, the Petersons.

Some old photos I scanned, dating from 1967 to about 1995. These include pics of my folks, my cat Nemo, and myself.
