June 26, 2004: The Wings had a great regular season, did a nice job against a fiesty Nashville team in the first round of the playoffs, and then lost to a Calgary team that apparently had a bit more fire than the Wings (as they went to the final round, losing to Tampa Bay). Oh, well. We may not have any NHL action next season, so I'll try to come up with some more historical pics to hold the page over until after the labor dispute is over. In the meantime, here are some pictures of Karen Newman, the Red Wings' anthem singer, along with various Red Wings and general hockey links.
