| Guido's
Barber Shop opened on December 26th 1982. (Formerly Fred's Barber Shop)
Guido Cavacini was born in Abruzzo Italy. In 1961 Guido came to America
and attended barbering school in Philadelphia. He served his apprenticeship
in Woodbury NJ at Mike's Barber Shop. He landed his first job as a Barber
at the Ellisburg Barber Shop in Cherry Hill where he worked for 2 years.
His next job was at the Cherry Hill Mall Barber Shop for the next 17 years.
Guido always aspired to have his own Barber Shop. He finally got his break
in September of 1982 while working for Fred Fucci in Riverton. Fred had
the Barber Shop for 17 years and wished to retire in Florida. He sold the
shop to Guido that December.
Guido Cavacini is an active member of St.Charles Borromeo of Cinnaminson. He is married with five children and six grandchildren. He is a supporter of the Palmyra, Riverton, Cinnaminson Lions Club boasting the top sales of the annual holiday fruit cake fundraiser. Guido enjoys sports, horse racing, Casinos and life in general. He works hard and is very well liked in the town of Riverton. |
