This was the first resin kit I built.
I purchased this kit, along with the Scorpion kit from John over at Resin Realities/Jayco.
This kit was incredibly clean and after pinning and assembly, a minimal amount of clean up was required.

Once primed, I started with a base coat of Black and then tried to dry brush Delta Tompte Red on to achieve the effect I was looking for.
As it turns out, Red is kind of a difficult color, especially where Daredevil is concerned.

Doing the above just made him look dirty, so I had to come up with shades of Reds that would make him look more acceptable.
With a basecoat of Black, I started spraying layers of Delta Black Cherry, Tompte Red and Moroccan Red on him.
Just kind of experimenting to see what the different shades would look like put up against each other.
I did some heavy shading with Black in the recessed areas and highlights with Americana True Red and Cherry Red.
The Tompte Red just seems like the perfect Daredevil color, so I used that to blend everything together.

For the small area of face, I use a base of Americana Shading Flesh with DeLane’s Dark Flesh and DeLane’s Cheek Color for the highs and lows.
While the pictures show a pretty strong contrast in colors, in person, this is really muted and give to a real nice smooth blending.
