Staying at "Schwarzkopf's Geneva Lake Retreat" is one of the more pleasant ways to enjoy Geneva Lake and Walworth County. Located in beautiful Brookwood Estates of Fontana, within easy walking distance of Geneva Lake (1/2 block), Schwarzkopf's provides their guests the intimacy of a privately owned home. This spacious, newly renovated (during 2000) ranch home offers year-round luxury accommodations for up to 13 guests. Schwarzkopf's can meet your vacation needs whether it's a romantic getaway for the two of you or for a family or social gathering. |

Overview and Outdoor Features Schwarzkopf's is a sprawling ranch with five bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, a fully appointed kitchen, a family room with fireplace, a formal living room and dining room and a finished basement. You will immediately notice the spaciousness of the home which allows larger groups the ability to comfortably spread out in different areas of the house. You will also be delighted with the tastefully furnished rooms offering a unique mixture of antique and contemporary furniture. At the front of our home, you will enter a screened-in porch furnished with cushioned wicker furniture (a delightful area to enjoy the quiet summer/fall mornings and evenings).

Living Room Once you have entered our home, you will discover our large living room immediately off the foyer. We consider the living room and dining room, which are connected, to be our more formal socializing rooms. The living room is furnished with three very comfortable large couches, a coffee table, two side tables and a desk.

Room
The dining room is furnished with an antique buffet and a dining set which can accommodate up to 8 guests. The living room and dining room as well as the three main level bedrooms all have oak floors, some of which are adorned with large Persian or Oriental type rugs.

Bedrooms - First Floor Sleeping accommodations on the main level include a king size bed in the master bedroom, a queen size bed in the second bedroom and both a queen and twin bed in the third bedroom. We also offer a full size crib and a portable crib for our guests with infants.

Family Room - First Floor The family room is carpeted and is more casual, tempting you to kick off your shoes and relax in front of the warm fireplace (plenty of dry wood is stacked outside on the deck). There is a plush couch and a large deep chair (very comfortable!), a pine coffee table and a side table. The pine "breakfast table" in the family room is a great place for having coffee in the morning while viewing the woods behind the house and planning your day.

Outdoor Deck- Off First Floor Family Room Off of the family room, there is a 25 x 26 foot deck built in and around the oak and hickory trees. The deck has built-in perimeter seating which is great for outdoor get-togethers. Outdoor chefs are welcome to use our gas grill for barbecuing. |

Kitchen For those who prefer to do their cooking indoors, our kitchen offers a large side-by-side refrigerator with icemaker, an electric double oven and range, G.E. SpaceSaver microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, Kohler cast iron deep double sink, coffee maker, toaster, blender, various pots, pans, dishware, glassware, utensils, dish towels, etc. |

Bathroom - Main Level The newly renovated bathroom on the main level is custom built and offers a two person Jacuzzi bath, a two sink Corian countertop on a cherry wood vanity and a two person walk-in shower. The shower is equipped with a frameless glass steam door, two Grohe shower fixtures (for simultaneous operation) and tiled walls, seat and ceiling. European tile and a full height vanity mirror compliment the walls outside the shower. Overhead dimming lights and Jacuzzi mood lighting help to complete the tranquil ambiance of this truly unique bathroom. The second bathroom on the main level is a 1/2 bath that is conveniently located off of the family room.

Lower Level - Recreation Room, Bedrooms The lower level (basement) offers two additional bedrooms, a full bathroom, a large recreation room and a laundry room. Sleeping accommodations on the lower level include a queen and twin bed in both our fourth and fifth bedrooms. Our guests on the lower level will enjoy the cedar paneled and carpeted recreation room where there is a comfortable seating area for reading or for watching videos on the television. There is also a cabinet full of games to enjoy and a stereo to listen to.

Lower Level - Full Bath & Laundry The bathroom on the lower level is a full bathroom with cedar paneled walls and a ceramic tiled floor. It features a lighted, European tiled, walk-in shower with a built-in seat. The bathroom vanity has a cultured marble countertop with two bowls. Finally, our laundry room facilities consist of a washer, dryer, wash tub, ironing board and iron which are available for your use |
