George Cox

Dr. George Cox is Professor of Public Affairs at Georgia Southern University. He directs the Graduate Public Administration Program and teaches seminar-styled policy and leadership courses at Georgia Southern.  Dr. Cox is active in:
  • The National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration;
  • the Commission on Graduate and Professional Advising of the National Academic Advising Association; and
  • Pi Alpha Alpha, the national honorary society for public administration and public affairs.
His most recent research is focused on political biography and contemporary theories of civic renewal.  He resides in Savannah, Georgia.
