Still a sweet board it just needed someone who understands looping. Janice on a 5.3 and her new JP 84 F/W. Good to get in the water. 33   7-23-05   Kiteboard  17M  South Beach Tip We put the Larson in finally and went to the tip of South Beach with Tom, Mary and Kim. Killer day warm and dry with a nice mellow North wind. I had the pond all to myself! Kited in among the seals and boats. Had a nice picnic and a few cold beers.   34   7-24-05  Kiteboard  17M  South Beach Tip incoming tide and out going tide. Des, Luke and Myself take the Larson out for a nice boat ride. Double session with Luke in the pond and channel between Monomoy and South Beach tip. First session the wind is NNE light but powered in the channel with the tide against the wind. Then it dies so we have a beer and within an hour it comes up out of the SSE so we get on it for session two. Now we are powered in the channel with the tide going against the wind the other way. Same location two wind directions?  35   7-25-05  Windsurfed  4.7 - 4.2  Forest Beach to South Beach Tip Best windsurfing day of the year! Full on for most of the day gusting to 45 mph. Janice happily spent the day on her 4.0 and JP 85 F/W I started on a 4.7 and ended up on my 4.2. Sailed in a shorty all day. Did a trip to SB with Bob Serio and PK. Went on the outside down wind for a mile riding waves through hundreds of seals. All killer no filler. Stuck a push-loop on my face! Went into the private cove set up camp and had a nice picnic, walk on the beach and cool point break all to myself. I had a good session but way to many kiters!!!! Bayview may be cancelled for kiting and restricted to windsurfing. Then Luke and I hit the Cut and had a nice afternoon session. Right players Luke, Peter, Matt White, Angry, Barry and the Dude from NY but ligfht winds and bad current cancelling what wind there was in places. Wind came up and things got better but still a little off. Then Jimmy C went down wind right out in front of the lighthouse out in the middle. A nice wave was breaking on a bar in no mans land. I had landed my kite but when I saw him catch a few waves I knew I had to go out and join him. Caught some nice bowling waves!! BB came down and joined us as well, nice way to turn a shitty session around. Angry is killing it!! Not bad bad it to December without booties!! Fun session with Mike and Peter on 4.7's as well. Luke on his 11, Brian switched to his 9 and Barry switched to his 9. Rule for the day: Keep the kite low, forward in the window and edge hard!
